DEIONIZER JACK
No more water change. Just run your tank water through the Deionizer Jack instead. Water change has never been so fast and uncomplicated.
BENEFITS
Resins in Deionizer Jack remove Chloride (CL), Sulfate (SO4), Nitrite (NO2), Nitrate (NO3), Potasium (K), Calcium (CA), Natrium (NA), Magnesium (MG) and water with no conductivity comes out from the Deionzer Jack.
OPERATION
Just run your tank water through the Deionzer Jacks and it cleans the water for you.
Lesser metals, minerals and other particles in you tank means cleaner water. Since all ions have been removed from the tank water, the KH of our tank water will also become 0.
The intervals of the usage is depending on the conductivity you want to achieve. Best practice might be bringing the conductivity of your tank down to 150 Micro Siemens once a week. Feeding the fish will increase the conductivity so we need to run the Deionizer Jack again again.
The water flow through the Deionizer king can be 300-400 l/hour. E.g. you for a 500l tank, 30 mins running the Kation anion filtration is equivalent to changing 50% of your tank water with RO treated water.
Note: The PH of the filtered water is 7, which means neutrals, but with our common PH meters we will not be able to measure Ph anymore, because the water is at the cleanest level achievable with all substances removed and 0 conductivity.
Maintenance
During operation measure the conductivity of the water that comes out from the Deionizer Jack. Once the EC reaches 30 Micro Siemens it’s time for recharging.
Do not continue to operation, as the PH of the outcoming water will not be neutral anymore.
LSL offers recharge services for the Deionizer Jack.
CONNECTION
Either 12/16 or the biger 16/22 hoses can be used to hook up the Silicium bead king to your tank.
16/22 might be a better choice.
Gardena quick connector clips are included, hoses not.
Via T connector and valve, you can hook up the Deionizer Jack to your existing tank filtration. You can utilize the the water flow of your return pump or use an extra pump.
The water flow should be 300-400 l/hour. E.g. you for a 500l tank, 30 mins running the Deionizer Jack is equivalent to changing 50% of your tank water with RO treated water.
