So why shouldn’t we use it in our tanks?
The answer is rather simple, using it at the wrong spot it will kill all our fish, using it at the right spot we get crystal clear water without germs and bacteria.
OPERATION
The Ozone King set is ideal for larger tanks up to 2.000l. The flow rate should be about 1/3 to 1/2 of the tank volume per hour, to guarantee a full sterilization of your tank water.
In order to achive this flow minium an external 5.000 l/hour pump is required.
Maintenance
We recommend to change the charcoal of the Ozone King II every 4 weeks.
The beads of the Air Dryer King have to be reacharged once the color turns dark. Just put the beads in an oven with 120 degrees for about 20-30 minutes and the will appear in organge color again signaling you the are ready to be used.
Connetion
The biger 16/22 hoses can be used to hook up the Ozone King set to your to your tank.
Quick connectors, are included in the set, hoses and the required pump not.
We recommend to use and extra pump with 5.000-10.000 l/h capacity to pump the water from the sump through the Ozone King reactors. The required flow rate is 1/3 -1/2 of your tank volume per hour. After running through the Ozone King filtration, the water can flow back into the sump or directly into the main tain.
The intervals of changing the charcoal of the Ozone King II a should not be longer than 4 weeks.
